Here are Some Frequently Asked Questions 

  • Should I sign up? - Yes do it Now - Click Here
  • How much do your sessions cost? Click Here for Our Timetable and Prices. On a per-session basis, our 45-minute sessions begin from $17.50 for the full 20 sessions over 10 weeks.  
  • Can I join now? Yes, you do not have to start at the beginning of a 10-week cycle. Join now on a free 1-week trial
  • When does your next round start? Click Here for Our Timetable and Prices: You can join anytime and we will adjust the invoice based on how many sessions remain. 
  • Is there a student discount- YES - 20% student discount? Just sign up using your valid tertiary institution email address. Please note: This is not automatically applied.
  • Where do we meet? 
    • Civic Square: On the green lawn for the 6am and 5:30pm sessions. 
  • What do I bring to the sessions? - We provide all the equipment you need for a safe and effective workout. Just bring a drink bottle, a small towel for perspiration and some comfortable sports clothing including some warm outerwear. Please do not forget your medication as required.
  • What if I miss a session? - Sometimes you just can't make it, life gets in the way and we are more than happy for you to make up the session as long as it is within the current 10-week block of boot camp. Please remember that we cannot compensate for a change of circumstance or illness caused outside of boot camp.
  • What happens when it rains? - Please see below for locations if it rains.  
    • Civic Square: There are many undercover locations, besides the library and Civic Building, please have a walk around and you will find us. Also, call/text 021 2255 272 before the start of a session. 
  • Are there any changing facilities, showers or toilets? - Unfortunately not. We are outdoors in the open. Frank Kitts Park does have public toilets however, we advise that you come to boot camp ready to go for your workout.
  • Can I try before I buy? - Yes you sure can. We offer a free trial session at any stage. However, certain session times do sell out so please don't be disappointed if we cannot offer a free place. To avoid this we recommend signing up asap.
  • I am really unfit, can I handle this? - Yes you Can!. Our sessions are designed so that you exercise at your pace and will never be out in a situation where you feel you are holding the group up. We have a variety of fitness levels.
  • What if I have never attended a boot camp before Is this for me? - Yes, our trainers are experts at tailoring the exercises to your current ability and showing you the same exercise at different difficulty levels. We are not army drill sergeants and are there to encourage you. We can also advise alternatives if you have injuries. Please do not be shy in asking if an exercise can be modified we are here to help you.
  • The word Boot Camp scares me, Is this for me? - Yes, trust me it is. We are not the sensationalised camouflage-wearing instructors. Boot Camps is just the name of our business. We Aim to get you fit while having fun. Bring a friend along and enjoy a new, healthier, happier you.
  • Are you a cross-fit place? - No, we have been successfully operating within the fitness industry for 13 years, well before cross fit became all the rage. Don't worry no one will be flipping tires, taking their shirt off, or running with weights.
